She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry T. Williams and Bertie Mabel Williams (Mitchell); her husband Bernard Coker; and her children, Rita Kay Melton, Paul Melton and Charlotte Garcia.
She is survived by: her son Dwayne Melton (Ouida) of Corsicana; her grandson Deon Coker; and her great grandchild Colby Coker. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and a host of friends.
