He is survived by: his parents, Doris Jean Buckalew (McHenry) of Mabank, Texas and James "Gene" Smith of Bandera, Texas; his brothers, Matthew Philpott (Ashley) of Mabank, Texas, Charles Buckalew of Colorado City, Texas and John Buckalew (Lily) of Colorado City, Texas; his uncle Brian McHenry (Randy) of Midlothian, Texas; his cousin Howard King (Jennifer) of Midland, Texas; his uncle John McGraw (Glenda); and his aunt Raylynn McGee. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
