He was predeceased by: his parents, James Nathan Malcom and Willie Mae Sparks Malcom; his son Chuck Malcolm; his grandson Ryan Robison; and his siblings, Mae Rogers, Bill Malcom, Jay Malcom, Charlene Carroll and Johnny Malcom.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Malcom of Athens; his children, Carl Malcom (Sheila) of Lubbock, Cathy Robison (Johnny) of Poynor, Chris Malcom (JoLynn) of Crescent Heights and David Webb (Tina) of Athens; and his siblings, Deb Cairy of Athens, Pearl Cirkles of Bonham and Pete Malcom of Mesquite. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
