Charles Hess Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Hess (Athens, Texas), who passed away on December 25, 2019, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Taylor David Hess and Elcie Louise Hess (Hood); his siblings, Wannell Dobbs, Earlene Hicks, Nita Sue Hess and Paul Wayne Hess; his nephew Roger Hicks; and his niece Jonell Dobbs.
He is survived by: his wife Drusilla Hess of Athens; his children, Charles Glenn Hess, Jr. (Darlene) of Longview, Donna Marie Burleson (Mike) of Garland, James David Hess of Toler, Arlinda Derlene Boris (Tricia) of Seven Points and Brian Carl Cannon (Teena) of Hurst; his siblings, Dean Hess (LaVern) of Denison, Jerry Hess of Denison, Gary Phillip Hess of Bells and Brenda Markham of Denison; and his cousin Elizabeth West of Durant, OK. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to any non-profit organization of choice aiding in Parkinson's Research.
