He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Werner and Anna Werner; and his in-laws, Wes and Ardine Walden. He is survived by: his wife Renee of Athens; his children, Matthew Werner of Athens and Emily Werner of Tyler; and his siblings, Barbara (Andrew Pflueger), Robert Werner of Meadowbrook, Curtis (Tawna Walden) and Kevin (Heather Walden).
Visitation was held on Monday, October 28th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Autry's Carroll-Lehr Funeral Home (1910 E Tyler St, Athens, TX 75751). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, October 29th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
