It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn Lewis (Athens, Texas), born in Amarillo, Texas, who passed away on July 18, 2020, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ura Lloyd Lewis and Wynona Lewis (Sanders); her niece Wendy Kaye Newman; her sister Era Maresh (Jerry); and her brother-in-law Loye Edwin "Burr" Kinabrew.
She is survived by: her niece Sue; her siblings, Patricia Kinabrew of Athens, Raymond (Connie Lewis), Kaye (Bill Newman) and Vicki (Dan Mandeville); and her nieces and nephews, Cheryl Wells of Rockwall, Michael (Susan Maresh), Kevin Kinabrew of Hobbs, Karen Thomason of Athens, Scott (Delana Newman), John (Jennifer Petty), Jay Newman of Tyler, Ross (Michele Thomason), Kristi (Tracy Holder), Suzanne Lewis of Austin, Mateo (Ivette Newman) and Jon Lewis of Ennis. She is also survived by great-great nieces, nephews and cousins.
