She is survived by: her children, Gonzalo Salinas of Athens, Alfonso Salinas (Sandra Luz Ramos) of Ciudad Mante, Laura Zavala (Salvador) of Athens, Roberto Salinas (Flor Lopez) of Athens, Rodolfo Salinas (Beatrice Guillen) of Ciudad Mante and Javier Salinas (Maria Romero) of Athens; her siblings, Imelda Alvizu of Mexico and Jesus Alvizu of Mexico; and her grandchildren, Alfonso Salinas, Carlos Adrian Salinas, Kaide Salinas, Karen Bermudes, Nayeli Bermudes, Maria Zavala, Kitzi Zavala, Aida Zavala, Fatima Salinas, Karolina Salinas, Jesus Salinas, Perla Salinas, Azuani Salinas, Rodolfo Salinas, Christopher Romero, Nikki Salinas, Javier Lee Salinas, Erik Salinas, Axel Salinas and Yandel Salinas. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hannigan Smith Funeral Home (842 NE Loop 7, Athens, TX 75752). A rosary was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Edwards Catholic Church (1310 S Palestine St, Athens, TX 75751). A burial will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at the Athens Cemetery (324 Lakeside Dr, Athens, TX 75751).
