He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Firmin Harris Sr. and Virgie Harris (Hughes); his wife Billie Dean Harris (O'Neal); and his grandson Daniel Hunter Harris. He is survived by: his stepmother Alma Shelton Harris; his son Joe Wayne Harris (Tina) of Athens; his grandchildren, Leighanne Harris Austin (Aaron) of Athens, Matthew Wayne Harris (Jennifer) of Athens, Kristina Kalyn Harris, Joseph Colter Harris (Jenny) of Athens, Jacob Wade Harris (Britani), Jordan Walker Harris, Jason Wyatt Harris and Abigail Aleese Harris; and his great grandchildren, Avery, Branch, Kane, Josslyn, Liam, Audie, Ava Jo, Olivia, Lincoln, Caden, Alison, Luke and Ellie. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
