He was predeceased by: his parents, William Oscar Campbell and Mary Myrtis Corkern; and his brothers, Jimmy Dan and Bobby Lane Campbell. He is survived by: his wife Mattie Lou Campbell of Athens; his children, Susan Partida (Marty) of Whitehouse and Russell Campbell (Traci) of Bastrop; his siblings-in-law, R. B. Richardson (Peggy) of Athens and Billie Campbell of Frankston; his grandchildren, Russell Byron Campbell II, Stormie, Amanda Brite, Steven, Sarah Howard, Sky and Darah Partida; and his great grandchildren, Madilyn Rose Campbell, Rustin Brite, Asher Howard, Brinley Campbell and Nevaeh Jena. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
