He was predeceased by: his father Joseph W Cowart (Floyd Elizabeth White); his sisters, Mary Sue, Lucille and Inez; his half-sister Eilah Mae; and his grandson Gary Joseph.
He is survived by: his wife Jackie; his children, Gary (Donna), Dennis (Linda) and Deborah (Andrew); his grandchildren, Austin, Colton, Natalee, Emalee (John), Kristin (Cody) and Kendyl (Kris); and his great grandchildren, Case, Grayson, Hayes and Bennett.
