With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Michael Raney (Atascocita, Texas), born in Houston, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 29, 2024 at the age of 71. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruby Burch Raney and Fabian Frederick Raney; his sister Mary Lynn Raney; and his granddaughter Raney Grace Dabadie. He is survived by: his wife Becky Raney; his children, Ryan Raney Dabadie (Griff) and Sean Michael Raney (Aki); his grandchildren, Sydney Taylor Raney, Merritt Grace Dabadie, Cameryn Raney Dabadie and Jin Sean Raney; and his siblings, Fabian Fredrick'Rick'Raney (Pat), Steven Thomas Raney, Sherri Jeanne Raney Moffa (Jim), Jo Anne Raney Chance (Brad) and Alan Burch Raney. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church (2308 3rd St, Huffman, TX 77336). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Hidden Pines (20114 Pinehurst Dr, Atascocita, TX 77346).
