It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Truman Sherrod of Aspermont, Texas, who passed away on November 1, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Lester "Pete" Sherrod and Claudie Belle Sherrod; his brother Ky Sherrod; his stepdaughter Deborah Gardner Allen; his wife Barbara Sherrod of Abilene; his children, Matt Sherrod (Shannon), Truman Sherrod (Kelly) and Kathleen Heifrin (Roy); and his stepsons, Tony Parsons, Robert Parsons, Perry Parsons (Kyrissa) and Danny Gardner (Lea Bob). He was also cherished by 21 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren that will dearly miss their Papa.
