It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maurine Ellison (Aspermont, Texas), born in Haskell, Texas, who passed away on February 19, 2019, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband DeWitt Ellison, Jr.; her sons, DeWitt "Tall" Ellison, III and Dewight Denton Ellison; and her sisters, Juanita Caffey and Betty Smith.
She is survived by: her daughter Melany Hope of Aspermont; her brother Bill Franklin (Sharon) of Mansfield; her grandsons, Justin DeWitt Ellison (Katy) of College Station, Joshua Craig Ellison of College Station and Joel Drew Ellison (Suzanne) of Bryan; and her great grandchild James DeWitt Ellison of College Station. She is also survived by many nephews and nieces.
