He is survived by: his children, Ricky Dawes, Peggy Greer (Demp) and Shelby Dawes (Sally); his grandchildren, Brent Dawes, Brad Dawes, Brandy Dawes, Sheldon Dawes, Shelby Dawes and Dempsey Greer; and his brother Joe Bill Dawes. He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren.
