It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gene Slagle of Arthur City, Texas, who passed away on February 5, 2022, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Maud Slagle and Dulcie Slagle (McEntyre); and his siblings, Kenneth Slagle, Johnnie Border, Ruth Kropp, Dorothy Tolson, Charlene Slagle, Maxine Burgin and Laverne Jones.

He is survived by: his wife Alma Slagle; his sons, Joe Slagle and Jesse Slagle; his daughter-in-law Tami Slagle; his children, Lisa Slagle Bowers (Mike), Terry Slagle and Larry Slagle (Morgan); his grandchildren, Tanner Slagle (Kati), Taylor Slagle (Tristin), Bryan Slagle (Taelor), KaSee Slagle, Blair Slagle Briscoe (Walker), Amanda Bowers Brawner (Ricky), Madison Slagle Cowden (Caleb) and Jordan Slagle Solich (Brent); and his great grandchildren, Weston Briscoe, Nolan Brawner, Jaxson Solich, Declan Solich, Brighton Slagle, Lettie Slagle, Timber Slagle, Julee Brawner, Emerie Brawner, Hannah Slagle, Hayden Slagle and Kegan Solich. He is also survived by his kids, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, family, and his many, many friends.
