We are sad to announce that on April 17, 2020, at the age of 99, Arthur Walter Walzel (Art, Texas), born in Wallis, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Walzel and Stephanie Walzel; his former wife Dorothy Mae Kucera; his son-in-law Gordon Severance; and his siblings, Victor, Gilbert Walzel and Eleanor Hayden.
He is survived by: his children, Rodney Blake Walzel (Terri) and Diana Lynn Severance; his wife Geraldean Akin; his stepchildren, Laura Martin (Brandon) and Scott Akin (Stacey); and his sister-in-law Jocelyn Walzel. He is also survived by six grandchildren, and five great, grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Still Creek Ranch, a ministry Arthur long supported.
