He was predeceased by: his parents, Don Smotherman and Dorothy Smotherman. He is survived by: his wife Dr. Alicia Wilkerson-Smotherman; his daughter Hillary Smotherman; and his cousins, Suzanne Sellers-Greene, Jackie Turner, N. Jan Smotherman-Davis and Barry Leath Smotherman.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that contributions be made to the First Methodist Church of Mansfield, Texas, or the American Cancer Society of Texas.
