He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Gunter and Ruby Gunter; and his brother Terry Gunter. He is survived by: his wife Sharon; his children, Clay Gunter and Matt Gunter (Kelley); his sister Linda Mowery; his granddaughter Cate Gunter; and his siblings-in-law, Glenda Clausen (Byron), Doug Smithhart (Kathy) and Carol Smithhart. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and great nieces.
