Richard G. Brown Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard G. Brown of Arlington, Texas, who passed away on February 14, 2025 at the age of 76. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Richard G. Brown to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Gladys Brown and O. Z. Brown; his siblings, Rev. Grammar Moore, Mack Charles Moore, Billy George Moore, Rev. Bobby J. Moore, Laverne Lewis and Lillie M. Moore; and his brother-in-law Walter Derrick.
He is survived by: his wife Sonya Brown; his children, Nakeya Thompson (Roderick) and Richard G. Brown II (Nora); his grandchildren, Makaila Edwards, Joseph Edwards and Richard G. Brown III; and his sisters, Evergrace Derrick and Blanche Phillips (John). He is also survived by many extended family members and dear friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Mount Olive Baptist Church (301 W Sanford St, Arlington, TX 76011).
