We are sad to announce that on February 6, 2025, at the age of 93, Kathryn Darlene Simpson of Arlington, Texas, born in Dallas, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her sons, Gary Douglas "Doug" Cherry and Bryan Ray Cherry; her sister Elizabeth Ann "Betty" Renfro; and her niece Edith Ann Harner. She is survived by: her daughters-in-law, Mary Cherry (Doug) and Patty Taylor (Bryan); her grandchildren, Debbie Cherry Reynolds (Charlie) and Darren Cherry; her great grandchildren, Stephanie, Kacie Reynolds, Briza, Lluvia and Daniellina Cherry; her nephew Charles B. Renfro Jr. (Nancy); and also, Beth Cherry Brentlinger (Steve) and Daniel Cherry.
