She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruby Eardeal Trimm Perry and Grady Cornelius Perry; her siblings, Howard Perry and Betty Williams; and her niece Loretta Shelton.

She is survived by: her husband Frank Hernandez; her sons, Keith Cendrick (Amy) and Chris Cendrick (Libby); her grandchildren, Rachel Wilkins (Connor), Michael Cendrick (Lydia) and Maddie Cendrick; and her nieces and nephews, Linda Goble, Phyliss Phelps, Perry Williams (Bo) and Andrew Perry.
