She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesús Soria and Aurora Perez Soria; her parents-in-law, Gonzalo and María Peña Zapata; her siblings, José Navarro, Guadalupe Soria (Genoveva), Francisco Soria (Margarita), Manuel Soria (María), Pedro Soria and Virginia Soria; her siblings-in-law, Armando Rizo, Pedro Becerra, Martín Balderas, Guillermo Lara, María "Viri" Gonzalez and Evangelina Soria; and her grandchild Dallas Angelo Zapata.
She is survived by: her husband Miguel Zapata of Acuña; her children, Martha Ann Guerrero (Ivan), Michell Dyson (Gerald), Amanda Zapata and Miguel "Mikey" Zapata; her siblings, Juana Becerra, José Soria (Yolanda), María Balderas, Hortencia Gonzales (Raymond), Gloria Lara, Jesus Soria (Mary) and David Soria; her in-laws, Gonzalo Zapata (Alicia), Guillermo Zapata (María), Dora Rizo and Federico Gonzalez; and her grandchildren, Tahan Dyson, Naiya Delyse Dyson, Antonio Emiliano Zapata and Ian Zapata Guerrero. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Emerald Hills Funeral Home & Memorial Park (500 Kennedale Sublett Rd, Kennedale, TX 76060).
