He is survived by: his wife Lynda Dawson of Argyle; his children, Christy Henley (Rolan), Candy Baird (William), Cathy Davenport (William), Cindy O'Brien (Tim), Casey McLeod (Amy) and Robert Goyen (Stacey); his grandchildren, Wesley Minks, Kendall McLeod, William Baird (Shani), Jessica Allbritton (Tayler), Brandy Tayler (Travis), Callie McPherson (Daniel), Cassie Baird, Will Davenport, Holly Davenport, Bailey Pearson, Brittany O'Brien, Brooke O'Brien, Blair O'Brien, Brandon O'Brien and Macy McLeod; his great grandchildren, Cayden, Harlow Minks, Haleigh, Brittyn Baird, Tatum, Broxton, Charlie, Kambrie Allbritton, Irelynn, Paxtyn, River Tayler, Noah, Della McPherson, Liam Baird-Price and Zeke Pearson; his brother William "Bill" Dawson (Barbara); and his siblings-in-law, Jeannie Echols (Wayne) and Norris Weir (Shirley). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
