It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Billie Wood of Argyle, Texas, born in Bonne Terre, Missouri, who passed away on March 1, 2021, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Helen "Billie" Slinkard and Carnell Simmons; her brother Gene Simmons; her nephew Ben Webb; and her former husband Dennis Wood.
She is survived by: her children, Amanda and Nathan Wood (Tom Manly); her siblings, Jim Simmons (Joyce) and Helen Webb (Pete); her nieces, Kelly Simmons, April Shaw, Andi McWilliams and Krista Joslin; and her nephew Tracy Simmons. She is also survived by five grandnieces, two grandnephews, two great grandnieces, and one great grandnephew.
