She was predeceased by: her parents, James Russell and Ethel Clark Saunders; her siblings, Azalee Fleming, Effie Mae Smith, Earl and Bruce; her husband Leon Berton Harris; and her pet Rusty.
She is survived by: her children, Jackie (Mike Ditto) of Archer City, TX and Randy (Karen Harris) of Abilene; her siblings, Helen Hallyburton of Morganton, James (Shirley Saunders) of Morganton, Linda Saunders of Morganton and Donald (Brenda Saunders) of Williamston, NC; her grandchildren, Jeremy (Jamie Harris) of Stamford, TX and Penny (Jaylen Stephenson) of Colorado; her great grandchildren, Klara and Alexis; her close friends, JoAnn Mashburn and Frances Parker; and her caregivers, Ginny Jones, Peggy Jones and Jackie Godwin. She is also survived by nieces, nephews.
