He was predeceased by: his siblings, Donald Ray Burks and Wanda Casmir; and his granddaughter Kimberly Boyd. He is survived by: his wife Frances Nell Burks of Burkburnett; his children, Dale Harris (Cheryl) of Jacksonville, Charlie Harris (Liz) of Burkburnett, Lloyd Boyd (Laura) of Winnsboro, Floyd Boyd of Boise City, Oklahoma and Susie Tanner (David) of Chicago, Illinois; and his siblings, Garland Burks (Karen) of Burkburnett, Benny Burks of Waco, Texas and Melba Harkins (Mike) of Odessa. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.
The family suggests that memorial donations be made in Leonard's name to Calvary Baptist Church in Burkburnett.
