It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Walter Gene Hale of Aransas Pass, Texas, who passed away on November 24, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William H. Hale and Katy Mae Hale (Ratliff); and his brother Harold Wayne Hale. He is survived by: his wife Janice L. Hale; his children, Don A. Hale (Daneece Tompkins) of Mineola, Stephen G. Hale (Michelle) of Aransas Pass, Texas and Terrie L. Freeze (Garth) of Aransas Pass, Texas; and his grandchildren, Jennifer Chambers, Chris Hale, Kody Freeze, Kyle Freeze, Stephen Hale, Kaith Hale, Britteny Crockett, Morgan Evans, Colin Hale and Nicholas Hale. He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren.
