He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Chupe, (Peres) and John Chupe, Sr.; his grandson Elijah Chupe; his great grandchild Remington Kline; and his siblings, John Chupe, Jr. and Caroline Pena.
He is survived by: his wife Janie Chupe of Aransas Pass, Texas; his children, Urban John Chupe (Kathleen) of Corpus Christi, Texas and Anna Michelle Chupe of Rockport, Texas; his grandchildren, Jonas Chupe, Sara Chupe and Darwin Kline; his great grandchild Brody Chupe; and his brother Demetrio Chupe, Sr..
Visitation was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Resthaven Funeral Home (1345 S Commercial St, Aransas Pass, TX 78336). A rosary was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery (9974 I-37 Frontage Rd, Corpus Christi, TX 78409).
