He was predeceased by: his parents, Julian Pena and Maria Del Regugio Pena (Torres); and his siblings, Julia Pena of Valdez, Gonzalo Pena, Maria Ignacia Pena of Alvarez and Felipa Pena of Vega.
He is survived by: his wife Tomasa H. De Pena of Aransas Pass, Texas; his daughter Lisseth Pena-Covington (Benjamin) of Aransas Pass, Texas; his siblings, Refugio Pena (Esperanza), Julian Pena (Nelva) of Laredo, Texas, Patricia Pena and Tori Pena of Houston, Texas; and his grandchildren, Chance Covington, Natasha Covington, Ryan Covington, Monica Covington and Silvestre Pena-Covington.
