He was predeceased by: his parents, William Henry Mourie and Mary Elizabeth Rivers Mourie; and his siblings, Mary Willoughby, William Henry Mourie, Jr. and Charles David Mourie.

He is survived by: his sister Mildred Marie Covington of Fredericksburg, Virginia. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
