He was predeceased by: his father Juan Tristan Sr.. He is survived by: his children, Leah Tristan (Nathan McPherson), Raynaldo Tristan Jr (Farrin), Brandon Tristan (Nichole) and Joshua Tristan; his mother Aurora Tristan; and his siblings, Juan Tristan Jr (Elia), Patrick Tristan, Rodney Tristan, Yolanda Tristan and Vanessa Tristan. He is also survived by six grandchildren and one on the way; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
