He was predeceased by: his parents, Miguel Martinez and Hilda Martinez; his nephew Tomas Flores; his niece Nora Hilda Martinez; his brother-in-law Elfego Martinez; his daughter-in-law Heather Lynn Martinez; his wife Conchita Martinez; his children, Ludivina Diaz (Mando) of Aransas Pass, Maribel Diaz (Rene) of Florida, Emmanuel and Isabel Flores (Jacob) of Aransas Pass; and his grandchildren, Tamara Correa (Joe), Marisa Diaz, Nathanuel Diaz, Adan Diaz (Linda), Sebastian Martinez, Ryder Martinez, Genesis Martinez, Zoe Flores, Nicholas Martinez and Ella Flores.
He is survived by: his in-laws, Ismael Martinez (Nora), David Martinez (Rafaela), Isabel and Concepcion (Sergio) of Lourdes. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins, and close family friends.
