She is survived by: her husband Juan Novelo; and her children, Jose Hernandez, Rodolfo Hernandez, Rosalinda Vidal, Maria Del Carmen Novelo, Julia H. Novelo and Jennifer Osorio.
Volunteering to feed the homeless and donating to those in need were just a few of the ways she translated her faith into action.
