He was predeceased by: his parents, Eustaquio Deases and Santos Guerra Deases; and his sister Jesusa Garcia. He is survived by: his wife Mary C. Deases; his sons, Joe L. Deases (Dawn), Fred J. Deases (Edel) and Michael A. Deases (Sylvia); his sisters, Elida Alaniz (Al), Frances Gaona (Robert) and Mary Peralez (Steve); and his grandchildren, Jessica, Melynda, Andrew and Eilish. He is also survived by four great grandchildren.
