He was predeceased by: his parents, John M. Lasiter and Amanda Laverne Day Lasiter; and his siblings, Cynthia Atkins and Darrell Wayne Atkins Sr.. He is survived by: his close friend Sherri Gray of Aransas Pass, Texas; his children, John Alan Lasiter Jr. (Michelle) of Ingleside, Texas, Billy Lasiter of Kansas, Kevin Lasiter (Jessica) of Rockport, James Lasiter of Aransas Pass, Texas and Karen VanMeter (Tony) of Ingleside, Texas; his sisters, Tabby Lasiter Stow of Waco and Debbi Robinson of Houston, Texas; his stepchildren, Autumn DeLeRosa, Joshua Gray and Jeremy Gray; and his stepbrother Gary Keeting (Alive). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
