He is survived by: his wife Edith Maria McCarty (Youngquist) of Aransas Pass, TX; his children, Ingrid McCarty (Andy Brisnehan) of Tucson, AZ, Angela Trant of Aransas Pass, TX, Ruby Adams (Randy) of Plano, TX, Harlan McCarty (Jeanette) of Ingleside, TX, Jeanne DeAses (Mike) of Bryan, TX and James McCarty (Cindy) of Portland, TX; his grandchildren, Chelsea Luce, Tony Rinald, Derek Luce, Jack McCarty II (Randa), Ryan Trant and Ashley McCarty (Sebastien Quintanilla); and his great grandchildren, Addison Wilson, Raelynn McCarty and Isabella Quintanilla.
A memorial service will be held at 10:30 am, Saturday, May 19 at Faith Lutheran Church, 938 W Lott Ave, Aransas Pass, TX In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made by donations to Alzheimer's Association.
