She was predeceased by: her parents, Manuela "Mamie" Brown and Tomas B. Garza; her brother Tomas B. Garza, Jr.; her children, Reynaldo Vera, Sr. and Mary Stella Vera Olivarez; her grandson Reynaldo Juan Olivarez; and her son-in-law Benito Muniz.
She is survived by: her daughters, Rosalinda Vela (Joe) and Dr. Eva Muniz; her daughter-in-law Margaret Vera; her grandchildren, Melissa, Gloria (Tony Olivarez), Victor (Cristina Nunez), Rey, Rafael (Rolando Vera) and Regina (Benito Muniz III); and her siblings, Guadalupe, Trinidad, Telesforo and Rudolfo Torres. She is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.
