He is survived by: his wife Wanda Burnett of Aransas Pass; and his children, Homer Howard Burnett III of Port Isabel, Paul Burnett of Los Fresnos, Tina Burnett and Lynn Burnett of Brownsville. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
