It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hershiel McCarty (Aransas Pass, Texas), who passed away on September 27, 2019, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Charles McCarty; his wife Wanda McCarty; his daughter Audra Brown; his mother Miriam McCarty Clark; and his siblings, Vera Hussian, Kathleen Baldridge, Lilly Charlene, Oudia McCarty and David Clark.
He is survived by: his daughters, Jill McCarty, Janice Kay Gugula, Vicki Hollander and Marishia Brown; his grandchildren, Philip Rowley, Amanda Terrell, Malachi Bennett, Kamen Grubbs, Mariel Rezner and Danielle Nelson; and his siblings, Lois Virginia Dittfurth, Carolyn V. Andrews, Mildred Ann Hunt, Wallace Lee McCarty, Thomas Jerry Clark, Joseph Carol Clark and John Wesley Clark. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
