He was predeceased by: his parents, Guy Leslie and Edith Mae; his sister Phillis Rae; and his sister-in-law Anna Mae Carpenter. He is survived by: his wife Ruby Carpenter; his children, Kenneth M. Carpenter (Elaine), Ruben Carpenter (Julie), Marsha Brooks (Wendell) and Priscilla Haldeman (Mark); and his siblings, Ronnie Carpenter, Janie Kuehn (Ron) and Joyce Herr. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
