He was predeceased by: his parents, Antonio Jimenez and Jovita Jimenez; his sisters, Mary Hutchins and Erlinda Alaniz; and his son Joe Trevino Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Frances Jimenez of Aransas Pass; his children, Fidel Jimenez Jr (Cindy) of Aransas Pass, Frances Townsend (Roger) of Aransas Pass, Maria Avitia (Joe) of Ingleside and Irma Trevino (Daniel) of Kingsville; his grandchildren, Angelita Mia Jimenez, Tristan Max Jimenez, Alfonso Serratos, Miguel Serratos, Joseph Avitia, Marcus Avitia, Bryson Ward, Morgan Trevino, Rebecca Serratos, Nicole Sanchez, Monica Serratos, Maria Townsend and Kayla Trevino; and his siblings, Felix Jimenez (Edna) of Corpus Christi and Rosita Gonzalez (David) of Aransas Pass. He is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
