He was predeceased by: his father Albert Adams; his brother Garland Adams; his mother Lena Adams; and his stepfather Joseph McCartha. He is survived by: his children, Dylan Adams and Marty Adams; his grandsons, Dylan Adams, Jr. and Zach Adams; his sister Janice Clayton; his nephews, Justin Adams, Jesse Clayton (Caterina), Kenneth Clayton (Kayann) and Nicholas Clayton; his niece Jenna Clayton; and his pet Jack.
