It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dan Runkle (Aransas Pass, Texas), born in Elkhart, Kansas, who passed away on June 15, 2019, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Runkle and Mildred Runkle (Dunham); and his siblings, John Runkle, Joyce Cyr and Jessie Barbara Carter.
He is survived by: his spouse Versa Dee West; his children, Shawn Runkle (Ron Yuscavitch) of Aransas Pass, TX and Kevin Runkle (Christa Henderson) of Derby, KS; his grandchildren, Gavin Runkle and Shelby Runkle; his great grandchild Eva Valdivia; his niece Tonya Markel (Steve) of Highlands Ranch, CO; his great-nephew Josh; and his great-niece Miranda. He is also survived by many other nieces, nephews and cousins.
