He was predeceased by: his parents, Clara Shedd and James Shedd; his former wife Myrtle Shedd; and his son Richard Shedd. He is survived by: his wife Ruthann Shedd; his son David Shedd; his stepchildren, Terry Van Atten, Jennifer Van Atten and Dawn Wilcox; and his siblings, Charles Shedd, Gerald Shedd and Patricia McCoy. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
