Alma Jane Montez Obituary

We are sad to announce that on January 21, 2022, at the age of 64, Alma Jane Montez of Aransas Pass, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her father Silverio Diaz, Sr.; her siblings, Silverio Diaz, Jr., Olga Diaz and Josie Diaz; and her grandson Anthony Rodriguez.

She is survived by: her significant other Jose Rodriguez of Aransas Pass; her children, Esmeralda Huff (James) of Rockport, John Perez of Tucson, AZ, Veronica Fruia (Dwayne) of Ingleside, Sarah Perez of Aransas Pass, Amanda Rodriguez of New Braunfels and Beatrice Leyva (Timothy) of Houston; her mother Eufemia Diaz; her siblings, Elva Huerta (Jesus), Rosa Soto, Tomasita Romeu (Antonio), Gloria Longoria Rosscup (Eugene), Linda McCullough (Bill) and Armando Diaz (Ludy); her grandchildren, Natalie, Byron, Jamika, Lalu, Lyla, Kadence, Jacob F., John, Derrick, Jr., Jacob A., Logan, James, Brooke, Mia, Timothy, Jr., Jasmine and Elise; and her great grandchildren, Jayceon, Sahni, Semaj, Karter, Isaiah, Jason, Layton and Gracyn. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins and friends.

Family was the foundation of her life, she is loved and adored by many, and her presence will be greatly missed.
