Linda Gerik Obituary
We bid farewell to Linda Gerik of Aquilla, Texas, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 15, 2025 at the age of 75. Linda touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel Pustejovsky and Flo Pustejovsky (Thompson); her husband Dennis Gerik; her brother Larry Pustejovsky; and her siblings-in-law, Richard Hargrove, Ed Kemp, Ronnie Gerik, Jimmy Gerik, Timmy Gerik, Ernie Janek, Marshall Matthews and Martha Gerik.
She is survived by: her sons, John Gerik (Molly) of Abbott and Paul Gerik (Jo Ann) of Aquilla; her grandchildren, Lesley Vrazel (Tyler), Lauren Gerik (Daniel Castanon), Kyle Gerik, Morgan Gerik and Will Gerik; her great grandchild Reece Marie Vrazel; her siblings, Diane Davison (Mickey), Janice Markwardt (Vernon), Susie Hargrove, Marge Kemp, Ricky Pustejovsky (Adela), Edward Pustejovsky (Lea) and Jim Pustejovsky (Sharon); and her siblings-in-law, Debbie Janek, Kathy Matthews, Marsha Gerik and Jerry Gerik Jr. (Denise). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel (808 S Reagan St, West, TX 76691). A Mass was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church (601 W Houston St, Abbott, TX 76621).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Fatima Cemetery Association, Aquilla Volunteer Fire Department, or the charity of your choice.
