With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joyce (Deen) Lewis (Appleby, Texas), who passed away on July 22, 2019 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, I. T. Deen and Albert Deen; her children, Brenda Lewis of Port Arthur and Barham Lewis; her daughter-in-law Patty Lewis of Houston; and her grandchildren, Jake Lewis of Houston and Tarah Lewis of Atlanta. She was also cherished by many nephews and nieces.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Bethel Cemetery Association c/o Bill Shumate, 270 C.R. 2082, Nacogdoches, Texas 75965, the President of Bethel Cemetery Association.
