He was predeceased by: his mother Lora Griggs; his cousin John Wayne Hooper, Jr.; and his great-nephew Hunter Mrusek. He is survived by: his wife Johna Renea Childers of Apple Springs; his sons, Craig (Jaclyn Childers), Bruce (Jana Childers), Blake (Kendra Childers) and Bradley (Crystal Childers); his grandchildren, Calli, Madilyn, Emilynn, Elias, Elkin, Destinie, Aaliyah and Trail; his great grandchildren, Korleigh, Camreigh and Halston; his sisters, Teresia (Gary Jenkins) of Hudson and Charlotte Huffstetler of Hudson; and the mothers of children, Jeannetta Wheat and LaNette Childers. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
