He was predeceased by: his father Anton (Helen Gausemeier Hoelscher); and his brother Larry R. Hoelscher. He is survived by: his grandchildren, Paden, Nate, Blayne, Riley and Cash.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 12th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Church of the Visitation (144 County Rd 3000, Lott, TX 76656). A rosary was held on Wednesday, March 12th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 at the St. Mary's Cemetery.
