He was predeceased by: his parents, Emmitt Woodard and Clara Woodard; and his siblings, Rosalee Gates, Oma Belle Vinson, Ruby Holman, Kenneth Woodard, Emmitt Woodard, Jr., Jesse Woodard, Dean Woodard and Norman Woodard.
He is survived by: his wife Jo Ann Woodard of May; his children, Robert "Bobby" Woodard, Jr. of May, Sheila Snell (Charles) of Waxahachie, Donald "Donny" Woodard of May and Barbara Knowles (Lance) of Hico; and his siblings, Larry Woodard (Evelyn) of May, Jerry Woodard (Carolyn) of Fairview, OK and Shirley Ensley (Rodger) of Arapahoe, NC.. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to First Baptist Church of May Building Fund or to a charity of choice.
